Another Leg Injection

Ha Ha Rebif! I fooled you...or I'm getting used to you in the leg.

I decided to not completely "drop" my thigh from injection rotation. Instead, I applied a topical freezing (xylocaine)to the area (3" x 3"), twenty minutes before the "event". I have had this tube of ointment since my "Copaxone Injection Days" didn't work for the Copaxone, so I didn't expect it to make a difference with the Rebif.

Anyhoo - it went okay. The experience was considerably better than any other leg injection I have done...not as good as my arm...but bearable.

In other news - today was the last day off MS Aquafit until October. The aquafit itself was uneventful - BUT - I did have a moment in the pool where I felt FOG FREE. My brain felt clear...unfuzzy...I haven't felt like that in weeks, possibly even months.

What a good day.

Glad to hear it Em. I know you aren't an easy quitter unless it involves going to R. Lake.;) As for the Aquafit, perhaps you could go once a wk. with a friend? & do the exercises over the summer since they are beneficial to you. I wish I'd been there to see you FOG FREE!

Kudos on getting up for Aquafit after staying up so late watching that MS debate in the House of Commons. It lost me after 3 hrs.but we have some good people on our side.
